Title

Discuss and consider action granting a Purchase Agreement with the City of Pflugerville for a permanent easement and temporary construction easement for the Secondary Colorado Raw Water Pipeline and authorizing the President to execute the same.

Summary

The City of Pflugerville is planning to install a 42-inch dedicated transmission water main between the Colorado River and Lake Pflugerville. The transmission line will be installed parallel to the existing pipeline and utilize existing easements where possible.

The easements under consideration by the PCDC Board are in the One Thirty Business Park Subdivision Plat 3F which is the PCDC’s existing drainage pond serving the industrial park.  DCS, civil engineer for the PCDC, has reviewed the easement locations in relation to existing drainage structures, reviewed the final construction plans, and the PCDC attorney has reviewed the easement documents and plat notation as requested. They have approved the final plans and easement information for consideration by the board. Jeff Dunsworth, City Engineer, City of Pflugerville will provide an update on the project and will address any questions related to the request.
