Summary

The 2011 Kayak Rental Concession Agreement is being brought before Council for approval which includes amendments regarding the hours of operation of the Lakeline Watersports (PflugPfun) kayak rental facility at Lake Pflugerville for the 2011 season. Pflug Pfun began operating at Lake Pflugerville on June 5, 2010. After a full year of operations the business owner, Mr. Roland Jimenez, has respectfully requested amending the hours of operation. Mr. Jimenez has looked closely at the statistical data on use and peak rental times to derive his recommendation. Although his attached schedule change proposal discusses closing two days per week, the facility will only be closed on Mondays.  Mr. Jimenez is recommending the following;

Fiscal Impact

Approval of this contract results in no additional cost to the City, and could net additional general fund revenue as the City receives a portion of the revenue generated at this facility.
