Summary
It has come to my attention that our tax abatement guidelines have expired and need to be adopted once again. These tax abatement guidelines were last approved in March of 2006. No changes to the guidelines are being recommended at this time. Please find the attached resolution with tax abatement guidelines exhibit for your consideration.
Prior City Council Action
The tax abatement guidelines were last approved by the City Council on March 28, 2006.
Deadline for City Council Action
Action is requested on June 14, 2011.
Projected Future City Council Action
Tax abatement guidelines must be approved every five years.
Fiscal Impact
There is no fiscal impact associated with this approval.
