Summary
Several months ago, Staff began investigating opportunities for the City of Pflugerville to save energy and make the City more environmentally focused. We contacted Linc Service Company to do a preliminary analysis, at no cost, of the City’s electrical load, service provider rates, and all department facilities as they pertain to gas, electric, water, and operational schedules. In addition to this, we asked them to address the street lighting and security lighting in areas of the City and make recommendations, along with costs, to improve all of the City’s operations. A Letter of Authorization(LOA) was signed with Linc, allowing them to have access to all facilities and data pertaining to the analysis. This presentation has been scheduled to allow Linc Service Company to present a report on their findings of the preliminary analysis.

Projected Future City Council Action
Action may be requested at a future meeting for implementation of recommendations associated with the findings of the preliminary analysis conducted by Linc Service Company.
