Discussion and possible action to authorize Resolution 2024-003 to memorialize the election and appointment of officers of the Board of Directors of the Pflugerville Community Development Corporation.
Summary
The PCDC Bylaws require that officers be elected annually. Three officers were elected and one officer did not receive a majority vote (minimum 4 per Bylaws). Additionally, board members requested that they further review officers following all board appointments. On January 23, the City Council appointed two new members to the board - Oscar R. Mitchell and Caesar Ruiz.
The Resolution 2024-003 will memorialize any officers elected at the annual meeting and approve any changes at this meeting.
Prior Action
On January 9, 2024 and January 23, 2024, the City Council made board appointments to the Pflugerville Community Development Corporation. On January 17, the PCDC Board met and elected a vice president, secretary, and treasurer.
