This resolution authorizes the City Manager to apply for and accept, if awarded, a DJ-Edward Byrne Memorial Justice Assistance Grant award in the amount of $68,945.08 from the Office of the Governor for the purchase of StarChase Pursuit Management Systems to be used to de-escalate vehicle pursuits within the City of Pflugerville.
There is no funding match for this grant from the City. Approval is also requested to authorize the City Manager to sign all necessary documents upon final approval of the City Attorney.
