Summary
This purchase will improve the trail area in Heritage Park, located at 901 Old Austin Hutto Road, by replacing all of the decomposed granite surfacing with concrete as identified in the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) Transition Plan adopted by City Council in 2021. This project was bid and DigDug was selected as the lowest bid. DigDug has worked with the city in the past for trail gap and trail maintenance projects.
This trail and accessibility improvement supports City Council strategic goals to engage the community through safe, vibrant parks and recreation services.
