Presentation and discussion regarding an update on the Multi-generational Recreation Center located in the Downtown East Project.
Summary:
The multi-generational recreation center update will be presented by City staff to inform the board of their progress in development of the recreation center. This is the first update received since May 17, 2023.
Prior Action:
At the October 12, 2022, Regular Board Meeting a Resolution 2022-007 supporting PCDC funding of the Downtown East multi-generational recreation center in the amount not to exceed $50,000,000 over a 30 year term was adopted. A Public Hearing was held on March 8, 2023, prior to expenditure of funds. On May 17, 2023 the PCDC approved a self-supporting agreement with the City of Pflugerville to support the allocation of up to $50MM for the multi-generation recreation center
