Discuss and consider action authorizing the Executive Director to enter into a Professional Services Agreement with Retail Strategies in the amount of $45,000 for the purpose of retail recruitment services.
Summary
The PCDC provides retail services to the City of Pflugerville per the Retail Policy adopted by City Council on Sept 9, 2022. Retail Strategies is our current retail services contractor. Based on the first year performance with Retail Strategies, the staff is recommending renewal with Retail Strategies for purposes of continuity and leverage from our first year with this firm. A presentation will be provided by Madiosn Neal regarding the company services and engagement with the PCDC.
Prior Action
The PCDC has previously engaged in retail service contracts to provide additional services and data for retail recruitment. The current contract with Retail Strategies, approved by the PCDC at a Regular Board Meeting on June 28, 2023, will expire. Extended services are required to fulfill the retail recruitment needs for the City of Pflugerville Retail Policy approved on Sept 9, 2022, at a Regular City Council Meeting.
