Title
Police Department presentation on the City of Pflugerville Blue Santa program.
Summary
It's Blue Santa time in Pflugerville. Blue Santa is a joint effort of the Pflugerville Police Department and countless volunteers who sort gifts and canned goods to provide holiday support to Pflugerville families. Together we can help Pflugerville families in need. Blue Santa bins have been placed at city facilities and more than 20 other locations across Pflugerville to collect donations of new unwrapped toys and canned goods. Last year more than 550 children were able to enjoy a better holiday thanks to the Blue Santa program.
Donations can be dropped off at Murchison, Rowe Lane, and Riojas elementary schools. Other locations include Kelly Lane and Park Crest middle schools, PISD Administration offices, Gaddy's Feed, 5-Below, Walmart, any Pflugerville McDonalds, Comerica Bank, Pflugerville Chamber of Commerce, Precision Tune, any Pflugerville Walgreens, Pflugerville City Hall, and the Pflugerville Justice Center. Donations will also be accepted at the city's Christmas parade and pfestival on lights on Saturday, December 13. Look for the Blue Santa float with the Blue Santa elves around it.
