Title

Resolution with a caption reading: A resolution of the City of Pflugerville, Texas authorizing the vacation, abandonment and release of temporary access easements and temporary drainage easements on the Colorado Sands Project for Lot 1 & 3 originally dedicated to the City by easement recorded in Travis County Real Property Records Document No. 2023036603 and 2024065731.

Summary

These easements were needed to facilitate the construction of the Colorado Sands roadway that built Colorado Sand Drive from Copper Mine southward to the connection point with the existing Colorado Sand Drive near Lone Star Ranch Boulevard. The easements are no longer necessary, as the roadway has been fully constructed and officially accepted by the City. The temporary easements were dedicated to the City for the construction of the roadway, there was no compensation. The temporary easements do not have an expiration date, that is why the owner's requested to have them released or else they remain on record until actively released.

Council approval of this resolution will authorize the City Manager to execute the documents needed to vacate, abandon and release the portion of the temporary access easements and the temporary drainage easements on Lot 1 & 3. If Council approves this abandonment; the vacation, abandonment, and release agreement will be executed by the City and recorded in Travis County Property Records.
