Summary
On May 28, 2024, the City of Pflugerville selected STV to provide preliminary engineering phase services for the 30/24-inch State Highway 45 Pump Station Discharge Line project (WA2404). In two distinct locations, two separate waterlines (24-inch and 30-inch) are proposed to be extended from their respective connection points south of SH45 and extended to the north side of the SH45 right-of-way. These two water lines are proposed to connect to a water line that will run parallel to the northern frontage road of State Highway 45 and will connect the future State Highway 45 Pump Station to 960’ Pressure Zone. This project will provide additional conveyance capacity to serve growth in the 960’ Pressure Zone.
This item supports the Infrastructure Pillar of the Strategic Plan. This project is currently funded within Tranche 3 of the Master Service Agreement with the WIFIA program which accounts for 49% of the entire project's funding with the remainder of the project's funding provided through a future debt issuance as outlined in the City's approved 5-year CIP.
