Approving a license agreement with Camp Doublecreek, LLC for a temporary wastewater extension through the rear portion of Kelly Lane Park located at the southeast corner of Falcon Pointe Blvd. and Kelly Lane; and authorizing the City Manager to execute the same.
Summary
The proposed license agreement is intended to allow Camp Doublecreek LLC to install and maintain a temporary, private wastewater forcemain extending from their property, through Kelly Lane Park to the west, to the lift station located in the Falcon Pointe neighborhood. The temporary private forcemain is necessary to serve the Camp Doublecreek LLC property temporarily with wastewater and the license agreement enables that private infrastructure to be located through the City park property. In the future, the City will construct a public wastewater interceptor pipe which will traverse through Camp Doublecreek LLC property. Once the public wastewater interceptor pipe is constructed and operational, Camp Doublecreek LLC will be required to disconnect the temporary forcemain and connect to the interceptor pipe. The license agreement includes provisions for how the private forcemain is to be constructed which will allow any future repairs by Camp Doublecreek LLC to be done on their property and not interfere with future park infrastructure, and provisions for how decommissioning will occur.
