Summary
The City of Pflugerville solicited bids for the Immanuel Road Project. Through the selection process, the city recommends awarding this construction contract to Liberty Civil Construction.
This project includes full reconstruction for widening of the existing roadway to a three-lane roadway section from Pecan St. to Killingsworth Lane Improvements include curb and gutter, intersection improvements, street lighting, underground storm infrastructure, and shared use paths.
The project will be funded by GO 2022, GO 2023, and CO 2025 Bonds.
The improvements will enhance regional connectivity and support the Mobility Infrastructure and Connectivity Pillar of the City’s Strategic Plan by improving roadway safety, resiliency, and traffic flow.
Construction is anticipated to begin following the issuance of the Notice to Proceed, with substantial completion expected within the contract period specified in the construction documents.
Prior City Council Action
Pflugerville City Council approved a Professional Services Supplemental Agreement with Rodriguez Transportation Group, Inc. for $209,670 on professional engineering services on the project at the March 26, 2024, meeting.
