Summary
The amendment of Chapter 154 Signs is proposed to correspond to the proposed amendments of Chapter 157: Unified Development Code (UDC).  The sign amendments include the incorporation of the Corridor zoning districts (CL3, CL4, CL5) sign standards that are currently located within Subchapter 5 of the UDC. Due to the creation of new zoning districts, staff has included sign standards appropriate to each new zoning district based on the most similar existing zoning districts' standards.  For example, the new Single-Family Residential (SF-R) zoning district utilized the same sign standards represented in Single-Family Suburban (SF-S), originally named Single-Family 1 (RS-1).  Staff also updated the names of the existing zoning districts where the nomenclature has changed over the years.
