The proposed agenda item requests approval of a conditional purchase agreement and associated conveyance documents between Gloria Kuempel of the Charles William Kuempel Family Trust (Parcel No.1) and the City of Pflugerville as necessary to acquire real property interests for the Cottonwood West Lift Station & Force Main Project.

The Cottonwood West Lift Station and Force Main project will serve development within the Cottonwood sewershed along the Cameron Lane corridor conveying flows to the future Wilbarger Creek Regional Wastewater Treatment Facility. This project is essential for the Meadowlark Development on the east side of Cameron Lane, south of Jesse Bohls Drive.

City staff, in collaboration with the City's property acquisition consultant, successfully negotiated this purchase agreement with Gloria Kuempel of the Charles William Kuempel Family Trust for an exclusive permanent utility easement and temporary construction easement Parcel No. 1, required for the project. The settled purchase price is $55,000, pending City Council approval.

Approving this purchase agreement secures one of the final easements needed for the project, allowing it to move forward with the bidding and construction phase. This item is supported by the Infrastructure pillar of the Strategic Plan.
