Summary
The City of Pflugerville seeks approval of a contract with MacGregor Entertainment to provide carnival rides and games for Deutschen Pfest. The agreement outlines the scope of services, including the setup, operation, and removal of carnival rides, as well as on-site coordination during events. MacGregor Entertainment will work closely with City staff to ensure seamless planning, execution, and logistics for the Deutschen Pfest carnival rides.
The City previously partnered with MacGregor Entertainment for the 2024 Deutschen Pfest. During that event, MacGregor demonstrated reliability by effectively coordinating with staff on scheduling, setup, and operations. The City also received positive community feedback regarding the quality and variety of rides, as well as the overall enjoyment they provided.
The proposed contract will begin on June 25, 2025, and extend through December 31, 2025, with the option for two additional one-year extensions upon mutual agreement. The total contract amount is not to exceed $75,000. The City will provide venue access, required space, and pre-approval for all ride selections.
