Title
Recognition presentation to the Pflugerville Community Development Corporation (PCDC) for receiving two Silver Excellence in Economic Development Awards for their Pflugerville Infographic Advertising Campaign and Pflugerville Business Recruitment Campaign.

Summary
These awards were presented at a ceremony on Tuesday, October 2, during the IEDC Annual Conference, which was held September 30 - October 3 in Houston, Texas.

For the Pflugerville Infographic Advertising Campaign award, PCDC developed this Business Recruitment Advertising Campaign with Aha Communications to recruit businesses in select, target industries.  The overall objective of the project was to create a branded look and feel that was unique and stood out from the competition.  That is the reason the use of line drawings (ghost-like images) are seen in all the ads and the image is particular to the target.  The chosen concept was carried across multiple target industries while maintaining a brand and creating overall awareness about Pflugerville.  The overarching goal was to create print ads that would stand out in crowded industry publications.

For the Pflugerville Business Recruitment Campaign award, the PCDC was recognized for creating innovative and successful strategies to promote economic development in this period of global recovery and demonstrating that they are at the forefront of the economic development profession and are using cutting-edge, effective practices that can be replicated in other communities
