Approving a Professional Services Agreement with H20 Partners, Inc. in the amount of $98,240 for roadway condition analysis, and authorizing the City Manager to execute the same.
Summary
The City of Pflugerville worked with Roadway Asset Services, Inc. who will be the sub-consultant to H20 Partners, Inc. performing the work to develop scope and schedule to provide the City with a condition assessment and analysis of the City’s roadway network. At the conclusion of the assessment and analysis, Roadway Asset Services, Inc. will deliver a final GIS file geodatabase containing collected pavement data including pavement type, severity and extent of distresses, and PCI (Pavement Condition Index) value. In addition, Roadway Asset Services, Inc. (RAS), will configure and set up the pavement analysis operating parameters, budgetary models, as well as a final report, Personal Geodatabase that interfaces with the City’s GIS platform, and a Microsoft PowerBI Dashboard that can be exported to Excel that contains the results of the pavement analysis and modeling. Information gathered from pavement condition assessments are utilized to assist staff with making informed decisions on project planning, budgeting and methodology.
As a part of the City’s Pavement Maintenance Program this evaluation is budgeted as part of the FY23 budget. Roadway network evaluation and modeling last occurred in 2019 and is recommended to occur every three to four years.
