Approving a professional services supplemental agreement with Dannenbaum Engineering Company - Austin, LLC in the amount of $75,100.00 for professional engineering services associated with the design, bidding and construction administration for the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) 2019 Pavement Rehabilitation Program Project and authorizing the City Manager to execute the agreement.
Summary
This agreement includes design services for the CBDG 2020 Pavement Rehabilitation program. The street to be included in the rehabilitation design is Yellow Sage Street from just south of El Malino Drive to Bellemeade Boulevard. The agreement includes rehabilitation plans for Yellow Sage Street, which were previously developed by Dannenbaum Engineering Company - Austin, LLC to 30% including design plans and construction cost estimates. The full Plans, Specifications, and Estimates (PS&E) package will be provided for Yellow Sage Street under this PSA. In addition, bidding and construction phase services will be provided.
This project is being funded through the CDBG Grant Program and is the last phase of design required to complete this series of neighborhood street reconstruction.
Prior City Council Action
In August of 2019, City Council approved the CDBG Action Plan which identified Yellow Sage Street design as part of the CDBG program.
