Summary
In December 2021, City Council approved the selection of AGCM as the Owner's Representative associated with the City Hall project within the Downtown East project. AGCM has been performing project management services for phase one of the City Hall project that included providing project estimates and schedules, managing communications regarding the City Hall portion of the Downtown East project, providing a Needs Assessment and Programming and assistance with the Public Private Partnership (P3) proposals of a new Pflugerville City Hall. As the Downtown East project moves into the next phase of design and construction, this Professional Services Agreement (PSA) is intended to extended AGCMs contract to cover pre-construction and construction phase services for both the City Hall facility as well as the Multi Generational Recreation Center.
To date, AGCMs services provided for City Hall project estimating, needs assessment and programming exceeded expectations and therefore, this contract proposes to extended their services to also cover the Owner's Representative services for both the City Hall, as well as, the Multi Generational Recreation Center. This request is for approval of a professional services agreement (PSA) for project management services including cost estimating, plan and contract review, budget tracking, project controls, monitoring overall schedule, procurement, inspections, building operation training, and move-in coordination. This PSA is for Owner's representative services through the opening of both facilities.
Prior City Council Action
On December 14, 2021, City Council approved the selection of AGCM as an Owner’s Representative (OR) associated with the City Hall project.
On January 21, 2022, City council approved the PSA with AGCM as an Owner's Representative associated with phase one of the City Hall project.
