Summary
The Pflugerville Area Youth Soccer League 2025 Fall Cup Tournament is a regional youth sporting event welcoming recreational, club and select soccer teams. The tournament is scheduled for November 14-16, 2025 and will take place at 1849 Park, Wells Point Park and Pfennig Park. Based on 2024, this tournament is expected to draw over 20,000 participants and spectators to Pflugerville over the three-day tournament weekend.
This year, the event requires a License Agreement as it utilizes City property. The License Agreement for Land Use was created by the City's legal team in September 2023. As per the fee schedule, all tournaments must have the fee set by City Council. Staff has reviewed the tournament schedule and reviewed the impact to City staff and resources. The cost to the City to staff this event is $12,360. This cost includes police and park maintenance staff throughout the weekend.
The event will comply with all local regulations, and Pflugerville Area Youth Soccer League will be responsible for all setup, staffing, necessary portable restrooms, and safety measures, as well as restoring all city facilities to their original condition upon conclusion of the tournament.
