Summary
The proposed agenda item is to approve a Work Authorization with Seven Arrows Land Staff, LLC for Right-of-Way Services to assist the City in the Right-of-Entry (ROE) and Property Acquisition process for the Weiss Lane and Kelly Lane Water Line projects.
On July 27, 2021, City Council approved a professional engineering contract with CP&Y, Inc. for Design, Bidding and Construction Phase Services for the above referenced water line projects, identified in the adopted 2020 Water Master Plan. The water lines will serve growth, provide system looping improvements and additional transmission capacity.
The proposed work authorization by Seven Arrows includes the following services on twenty-five (25) parcels:
* Obtaining Rights of Entry
* Title Research and Curative
* Presentation of Offers (Initial and Final)
* Negotiation and Closing of all types of land rights
- Right of Way
- Temporary Construction and Permanent Easement
- Property Acquisition
* Other services may also be included, as directed by City
- Assistance with Open Houses
- Similar Meetings with the public
- Presentations
- Other Real Estate and Property work as needed
Approving the work authorization will allow the Kelly Lane and Weiss Lane Water Line projects to move forward.
Prior City Council Action
Seven Arrows Land Staff, LLC. is one of the five (5) firms selected to provide Right-of-Way Services at the November 12, 2019 City Council meeting.
City Council approved a professional services agreement with CP&Y, Inc. in the amount $978,440.00 for professional services associated with the new 12-inch Water Lines in794' Pressure Zone and 36/30-inch Weiss Lane/Kelly Lane Water Line Projects.
