The City of Pflugerville seeks approval of a contract with Double Eagle Entertainment, LLC. to provide comprehensive sound, entertainment management, and production services for City-sponsored events in 2025. Double Eagle Entertainment will work in direct collaboration with City staff to ensure seamless event execution, artist hospitality, and production logistics for events such as Music in the Park, Rock the Block, Slice of Pflugerville, and Deutschen Pfest.
The City of Pflugerville has used Double Eagle previously for Deutschen Pfest and Slice events for talent management however, other firms were used for sound, lighting and other production services at these events. The proposed contract with Double Eagle would place all sound, entertainment management and production services with one firm, allowing for more seamless communication between entertainment, stage and sound production. Double Eagle LLC currently performs the same services for the City of Marble Falls Concert Series, City of Leander Liberty Fest, and the Burnet Bluebonnet Festival to name a few. By securing professional entertainment services, the City can expand its event offerings to appeal to a broader audience, ensuring equitable access to high-quality cultural and recreational experiences.
The contract term will begin on February 25, 2025, and extend through December 31, 2025, with the option for two additional one-year extensions upon mutual agreement. The total contract amount is not to exceed $135,000. The City will provide venue access, necessary utilities, and pre-approve all artist selections and production elements.
