Summary
The proposed agenda item requests approval of a purchase agreement and associated conveyance documents between ARS Crossing, LLC (Parcel No.2) and the City of Pflugerville as necessary to acquire real property interests for the 15-inch North Wilbarger Wastewater Interceptor Project, and authorizing the City Manager to execute the same.This item supports the sustainable infrastructure pillar of the City’s Strategic Plan.
The 15-inch North Wilbarger Wastewater Interceptor Project is the construction of a wastewater line extension totaling approximately 1,600 LF from an existing connection crossing from the east to the west side of SH 130 to provide service to the area northwest of the highway interchange of SH 130 and SH 45 in the Wilbarger Drainage Basin.
This purchase agreement with ARS Crossing, LLC., conveys a temporary construction easement and permanent utility easement necessary to construct the project. The City’s property acquisition consultant and city staff negotiated with the property owner settling in the amount of $168,249.00, subject to City Council approval.
Approval of this item will authorize the City Manager to execute the temporary construction easement, utility easement, and associated conveyance documents necessary for formal conveyance of the real property interests.
Prior City Council Action
City Approved a professional services supplemental agreement with CP&Y, Inc In the amount of $201,365.00 to provide professional services associated with the SH 130 Wastewater Extension Project and authorizing the City Manager to execute the same.
City Manager approved a Work authorization agreement with Seven Arrows Land Staff, LLC. In the amount of $14,700.00 for right-of-way services for 15-Inch Wilbarger Interceptor on October 11, 2023.
