Authorizing the City Manager to approve a Professional Service Supplemental Agreement with Gupta and Associates in the amount of $340,889 for professional engineering services associated with the Surface Water Treatment Plant and Lake Pump Station Standby Generator Project.
Summary
This Professional Services Supplemental Agreement (PSSA) #2 is to add construction phase services to the original Professional Services Agreement with Gupta and Associates. These services will encompass the remainder of this project which will require monthly meetings with each General Contractor for both the Lake Pump Station Generator Project and the Surface Water Treatment Plant Generator Project. This supplemental agreement also incorporates the consultants time and expertise to respond to the various RFIs that could be developed as part of both projects. As part of this supplemental agreement, Gupta and Associates will also review and respond to any and all shop drawings for both projects and any O&M Manuals that are created as part of the finalizing of the project after construction. This PSSA accounts for Gupta and Associates’ time to perform site walkthroughs throughout the projects and conduct any necessary inspections for both generator projects.
