Title

Presentation on the launch of the Pflugerville Pfix-Up program.

Summary

The City of Pflugerville Public Works and Parks and Recreation staff participated in the first project of the new City program called Pflugerville Pfix-Ups.  On Friday, February 10, 2012, the entrance to Bohls Park at 200 Immanuel Road was the site of the first fix-up.  City staff from the two departments focused on the southwest corner of Immanuel Road removing the overgrowth of trees, vines and invasive shrubbery that block view of the trail along the park entrance.

Pfix-up isn’t just a one-time event. Once a project is identified for a Pfix-Up, city crews will spend the second Friday of the month fixing up the area, with a different project slated each month. Residents are asked to register for the new City Blog and submit their ideas for the next Pflugerville Pfix-up at <http://www.pflugervilletx.gov/pfixup> . The next Pfix-Up is scheduled for March 9, 2012.
