Conduct introductions and consider taking action regarding appointments to Place 2, Place 4, Place 6, and Place 7 of the Pflugerville Community Development Corporation (PCDC) Board of Directors.
Summary
The terms of Ms. Starlet Sattler (Place 2), Mr. Darelle White (Place 4), and Mr. Randy Duncan (Place 6) on the PCDC Board of Directors are ending December 31, 2012. Additionally, Mr. White is no longer a councilmember and since his appointment to Place 2 has ended with his council term, an unexpired term exists for Place 2 which will last until December 31, 2012. This provision is included in the PCDC Articles of Incorporation: "A director who is a member of the City Council will cease to be a director upon ceasing to be a member of the City Council."
An application for reappointment has been received from Mr. Duncan and is attached. Up to two City officials can serve on the PCDC Board of Directors. Ms. Sattler is a councilmember. Mr. Omar Peña took the oath of office as Councilmember Place 3 on November 19, 2012 and is currently serving on the PCDC Board of Directors in Place 7. His term ends December 31, 2013.

Staff Recommendation
Conduct introductions for appointments to the PCDC Board of Directors and take action to make an appointment to Place 4 for an unexpired term ending December 31, 2012 and for a regular term beginning January 1, 2013 and ending December 31, 2014; and take action to make appointments to Place 2 and Place 6 for regular terms beginning January 1, 2013 and ending December 31, 2014; and discuss and consider action as appropriate regarding appointment to Place 7.
