Title: The Pflugerville Community Library presents “Get a Clue
Title
The Pflugerville Community Library presents "Get a Clue... at the Library!" this summer.

Summary
In the Summer Reading Program, children keep track of time spent reading in a log provided by the library in 20 minute increments. Younger children who are not reading on their own receive credit for time spent listening to others reading aloud.  Children are rewarded for hour milestones of reading with a weekly reading incentive. What questions do you have? What do you hear on TV? Where do you find answers to your questions? This year's theme song asks, "Is it fiction? Is it true? Investigate like Scooby Doo. Take a look in a book. Get a clue."  Planned events include story times, crafts, family programs, performers, and special guests. In June, there's a treasure hunt and Kent Cummins will visit with his magic show, a live reptile show will visit the library and children will be able to pet small farm animals. In July, Dinosaur George, Hand-to-Mouth Theatre Puppet Show and The Amazing Aaron Juggling Show are part of the fun. Visit www.pflugervilletx.gov/library <http://www.pflugervilletx.gov/library> to check out the Get a Clue summer reading program video as we go to books for CLUES!

The Library includes events for tweens (age 10-13) and teens (age 13-18) through Texas Teens Read. The Summer Reading Program includes adults!  Adults who fill out a review form for each book read, DVD watched or audiobook listened to will be entered into a weekly prize drawing. Prizes include gift cards from local businesses: Cinemark Stone Hill, Flower Child Design, Maurices, and Pecan Street Station.
