Summary
This item is to amend Chapter 72 of the Code of Ordinances specifically relating to speed limits on city streets. Changes to the ordinance are necessary to correct existing errors in the Code which will allow enforcement of speed limits on City streets to ensure compliance with state law. There will be no changes to speed limits on city streets as a result of this ordinance.
Status
In the attached ordinance, streets have been identified and corrected in the prima facie maximum speed limits table. This item has been approved by the City Attorney as to form.
