Summary
The proposed annexation consists of a total of approximately 150.180-acres of land located at 16544 Cameron Road, within the City's extraterritorial jurisdiction. The subject property is contiguous to properties within the City limits and therefore is eligible for voluntary annexation in accordance with state law.
Pursuant to the Texas Local Government Code (TLGC) Section 43.0672, the City entered into a written agreement with the owners of land in the area for the provision of City services on April 23, 2024.

City Attorney approved the ordinance as to form.

Prior City Council Action
April 23,2024: City Council approved the post-annexation provision of services agreement.
May 28, 2024: Public hearing and approval on first reading of the annexation ordinance.

Deadline for City Council Action
Approve the second reading on June 25, 2024.
