Summary
The Northwest Wilbarger Wastewater Line Extension Project is included in the 2024 - 2028 Capital Improvement Program as Project WW2402.The approximately 1,900 linear foot 15-inch wastewater line extends from the western terminus of the North Wilbarger Interceptor project (existing City project WW2202), following along Panther Loop and Panther Drive.
This segment of the gravity wastewater line serves the developments within the City limits north of the State Highway 45 area. Installing this line would remove the necessity for a temporary lift station.
This project supports the infrastructure pillar of the City’s Strategic Plan and Comprehensive Plan by providing a safe, resilient infrastructure for our citizens, and is identified in the Fiscal Year 2024 Utility CIP budget.
The City desires to retain STV as Engineering Consultant to provide professional engineering services for this project. STV’s proposed scope of services includes project management, alignment evaluation, design and development of bid documents, geotechnical investigation, environmental evaluation, surveying, subsurface utility engineering, and bid phase services.
