Summary
The City of Pflugerville entered an agreement with HUB International effective September 1, 2019 for benefits consulting services for a flat fee of $55,000 paid directly by the City of Pflugerville and not a commission-based fee paid by the insurance provider. Without the commission being included in the consideration by the insurance companies, this allows the broker to seek the lowest-priced premiums for the City of Pflugerville. HUB International has provided the City with excellent customer service, analysis, and communication in their scope of services over the last four fiscal years.
The proposed agreement, effective September 1, 2023, has an annual fee of $58,500.
The agreement is for one (1) year with the ability to cancel at any time with 60 days’ notice and the ability to renew each year for up to five (5) years.
