Summary
This resolution is for authorization of the City Manager to execute unilateral public easements in accordance with the Unified Development Code and Capital Improvement Program (CIP) Projects in the course of land developments in the City of Pflugerville. Section 4.01(c)(10) of the home-rule charter authorizes the City Manager, when authorized by City Council, to "sign any contract, conveyance or other document". This resolution will allow an expeditious use of City authority to streamline development and CIP projects within the City and provide for the health, safety and general welfare of the public by authorizing the City Manager to execute and record unilateral public easements (examples; drainage, water, wastewater, access, sidewalk) related to land development which are included, incorporated or required by the City's unified development code and CIP projects. City Attorney has reviewed and approved the resolution as to form.
