Title
Conduct a Public Hearing to receive public input on the Preliminary Design Reports (PDR) for the Mansions at Stone Hill Park Project and the Highland Park/Highland Park North Park Project.
Summary
Two of the park projects that were included in the successful November 2014 Bond Election are the Mansions at Stone Hill Park Project and the Highland Park/Highland Park North Park Project. These two parks were previously Master Planned as part of the Trails Master Plan & Undeveloped Parks Study that was completed by RVi in July of 2014.
The City engaged MWM DesignGroup for the design of the Stone Hill Park Project and Studio 16:19 for the Highland Park/Highland Park North Project. Each firm's initial Scope of Work was to provide a Preliminary Design Report (PDR) that looks at the project sites to identify opportunities and constraints (environmental, historical, cultural, etc), evaluates the previously completed Master Plans to fully vet the proposed amenities and provides updated preliminary designs and cost estimates. The regular meeting includes an item approving a supplemental agreement with MWM to proceed with the design and construction administration for the Mansions at Stone Hill Park.
The purpose of this Public Hearing is to receive public input on the Preliminary Design Reports for each project.
