Summary
The proposed annexation consists of a total of approximately 15.84-acres of land located at 17409 Cameron Road, within the City's extraterritorial jurisdiction. The subject property is contiguous to properties within the City limits and therefore is eligible for voluntary annexation in accordance with state law.
Pursuant to the Texas Local Government Code (TLGC) Section 43.0672, the City entered into a written agreement with the owners of land in the area for the provision of City services on November 8, 2022.

City Attorney approved the ordinance as to form.

Prior City Council Action
On July 25, 2023, City Council approved the post-annexation provision of services agreement.
On August 22, 2023, City Council held a public hearing and moved to approve the annexation.

Deadline for City Council Action
Consider approval on second reading of the annexation ordinance on September 12, 2023.
