Approving a 3-year lease with Marathon Fitness, Inc. in the amount of $75,892.08 for Recreation Center cardio equipment utilizing the BuyBoard Purchasing Cooperative, and authorizing the City Manager to execute the same.
Summary
The existing cardio lease agreement ends November 31, 2022. The new lease agreement will allow for equipment in good condition to remain, replacement of worn equipment, and introduction of additional new cardio equipment.
If the cardio lease is approved, staff anticipates equipment exchanges to be complete the week of November 14, minimizing disruption to Recreation Center member usage.
The cardio equipment includes but is not limited to:
• 3 x Precor Treadmill
• 2 x Precor Elliptical
• 2 x Precor Upright Bike
• 1 x Precor Climb
