Summary
The 86th Legislative Session was called into session on January 8, 2019 and lasts 140 days. The purpose of this item is to allow for a report from Focused Advocacy regarding legislation that has been filed thus far having an impact on cities such as Pflugerville, as well as discuss options and opportunities to proactively affect current legislation associated with municipal annexation and utility service areas, which are governed by the Public Utilities Commission (PUC) through Certificates of Convenience and Necessity (CCN).
