Title
Discuss and consider action to approve a resolution of the City Council of the City of Pflugerville, Texas, directing the City Manager or the City Manager’s designee to execute all documents to institute eminent domain proceedings for the acquisition of land situated for temporary construction easement and wastewater easement in Pflugerville, Travis County, Texas and directing the City Attorney to initiate condemnation proceedings associated with the 18-Inch Gilleland Creek Wastewater Interceptor Project.

The property owner has not agreed to the cost and/or the terms outlined in the City's easement proposals regardless of multiple attempts from City Staff, and the City’s land acquisition consultant, Seven Arrows Land Staff LLC. At this time, it is necessary to initiate condemnation proceedings to advance the acquisition process and allow the project to move forward.

The project's total budget is $4,504,865. Of this amount, $266,092 is designated for right-of-way acquisition which is funded by utilit...
