Discuss and consider action regarding improvements to the Windermere Park Pool.
Summary
During the fiscal year 2015 budget process, staff was asked to research and develop cost estimates for some specific improvements to the WIndermere Park Pool. These improvements include a pool heater, windscreens and an inflatable roof ("bubble").
Staff will present the Council with the cost estimates for each component, including estimated operation and maintenance (O&M) costs, as requested by Council at the October 14, 2014 meeting.

Fiscal Impact
Parks staff has estimated the following costs for the capital improvements and ongoing O&M:
Approximately $100,000 for capital improvements: $40,000 for heaters, blankets, windscreens and necessary infrastructure; $60,000 for inflatable roof.
Approximately $28,000 for O&M costs ($12,000 staffing & $16,000 for gas & additional chemicals).
Approximately $12,000 for projected revenue from additional programming.
This project is not currently funded in the fiscal year 2015 budget.
