Title
Conduct a public hearing on the Roadway Impact Fee Audit results.
Summary
In accordance with the Local Government Code Chapter 395, Section 395.059, before a political subdivision may increase an existing impact fee or adopt a new impact fee for a service area where an impact fee had previously been adopted, the political subdivision must conduct an independent financial audit. The City contracted with Pattillo Brown and Hill to conduct this required audit of the fees to comply with the new requirements. The audit covered fees collected from inception of the original adoption of this fee through July 31, 2025. This type of audit is new for all auditors so the format of the report had to be created and agreed upon by the auditor and the City.
