Title
Approving a resolution amending the Personnel Appeal Board policy and procedures to be consistent with the City Charter.

Summary
The City Charter was amended by the voters in an election on November 8, 2011.  The approved amendments included that the Personnel Appeal Board would apply only to commissioned peace officers that are regular, full-time employees or regular, part-time employees of the City (excluding the Police Chief and any other commissioned peace officers that do not report to the Police Chief or any contract employees) who have completed their initial probationary period.  It is therefore appropriate for the City Council to update the policy and procedures of the Personnel Appeal Board to be consistent with this amendment.
