Summary
The City of Pflugerville staff solicited sealed bids for the hauling of dewatered sludge from the Central Wastewater Plant. Advertisements were placed in the Pflugerville Pflag for two consecutive weeks and notice of the bid was on the City's website for the duration. The attached bid tab shows the one qualified bid that was received from Sheridan Environmental, LLC in the amount of $495 per load. The bid documentation submitted by Sheridan Environmental is attached to the agenda item. Wastewater staff has checked references. Finance staff verified all information regarding insurance requirements.
Sheridan Environmental has been the contractor for the City of Pflugerville for dewatered sludge hauling since 2011. The previous bid for the period of 2013-2016 was $395 per load.
