Summary
The schedule for this annexation is attached. The public hearings are proposed for January 12, 2016 and January 16, 2016. First reading of the annexation ordinance is scheduled for February 9, 2016.
The proposed annexation is a city initiated item to incorporate the entirety of the newly acquired city land that is anticipated to be utilized for the City's Athletic Complex. The tract overall is 243.7 acres of which 66.696 acres are already within the city limits. Adoption of the attached resolution would establish the schedule for the annexation of the 177.004 acres as shown in the attachments.
Deadline for City Council Action
December 8, 2015 in order to follow the proposed schedule.
Projected Future City Council Action
Public hearings will be scheduled for January 12 and January 16, 2016.
