Title
Approving a resolution of the City of Pflugerville, Texas, and the State of Texas approving an Advance Funding Agreement with the Texas Department of Transportation for the Intersection Improvements project associated with the ADA Projects Implementation: Signalized Intersections project, and authorizing the City Manager to execute the same.

Summary
The Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) Projects Implementation: Signalized Intersections project, a City of Pflugerville Capital Improvements Program (CIP) project, was submitted to the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) for Transportation Alternatives Set-Aside (TASA) grant funding and selected. This resolution allows the City Manager to sign on behalf of the City the Advance Funding Agreement with TxDOT for this intersection improvements project. The CIP plan budgeted about $1.1 million for this project. TxDOT will provide $2,660,866 in TASA grant funding and the City will provide a match of $665, 217.

The project will include ADA and pedestrian improvements at 15 locations throughout the city, including adding accessible pedestrian signals, ramps, and poles, evaluating and retiming of traffic signals to provide leading pedestrian intervals and ensure adequate crossing time, installing new conduit and wiring as needed, and converting or updating traffic signal components as necessary to accommodate pedestrians signals. The project will include finalizing the design and construction. Since this includes federal grant funding, the project must comply with federal procurement requirements.
