Approving a Resolution of the City of Pflugerville appointing Mayor Jeff Coleman to the Central Texas Clean Air Coalition of the Capital Area Council of Governments (CAPCOG).
Summary
In January, the Pflugerville City Council considered and passed a resolution requesting to join the Central Texas Clean Air Coalition (CAC). While the CAC has not acted on this request, it will be considered at their March meeting. Mayor Coleman has volunteered to serve in this capacity. CAPCOG staff suggested that contingent on Pflugerville's request for membership being approved in March, Mayor Coleman could immediately begin participating in the meeting. The proposed resolution and a copy of the coalition's by-laws are attached.
Status
The Central Texas Clean Air Coalition will consider Pflugerville's request for membership at a meeting to be scheduled in March.
Prior City Council Action
The City Council approved a resolution requesting full membership on January 14, 2014.

Staff Recommendation
