Title
Resolution declaring the property located at 102 South Third Street as surplus property to the City of Pflugerville and authorizing the sale of the property through sealed bids.
Summary
The property owned by the City of Pflugerville at 102 South Third Street has been used by the library, the Police Department and most recently by the Engineering Department. At this time, the City does not need this property for any discernible civic use. Following an appraisal, work recommended by the appraiser and a local realtor was done to prepare the property for a potential sale for a commercial use. This work consisted of minor maintenance and compliance with American for Disabilities Act (ADA) requirements. The current zoning for the property is Retail. After the property is declared surplus, City staff will prepare documents for the sealed bid. Since the City currently has no use for this property, returning it to the property tax rolls would be beneficial to the City.
Status
At this time, the building is vacant.
