Summary
The NTCMUD#5 Phase 2 Project requires property acquisition of a 0.636 acre easement for construction of new water facilities. The City’s property acquisition consultant and city staff have negotiated with the landowner for the needed property. The cost of $31,186.00 has been agreed to based on appraisals for the necessary easement and right of way.
Approval of this item will authorize the City Manager to execute the purchase agreement along with all easement documents. These documents will be recorded with the Travis County Clerk’s office once they are executed.
The City Attorney has reviewed and approved the language of the purchase agreement and easement agreement.
Fiscal Impact
Funding for acquiring this property is from the 2015 certificate of obligation issue.
