To advance and protect the City of Pflugerville’s interests, the City has retained Focused Advocacy to support its Legislative Agenda and provide advocacy on key state government matters. This partnership ensures that the City’s priorities are actively represented during the session.
By adopting this resolution, the City establishes its official position on legislative issues that affect the community. It also serves as an essential tool for communicating the City’s priorities to its Legislative Delegation, stakeholders, and residents, promoting alignment and engagement on matters of importance to the City of Pflugerville and its future.
Dates of Interest for the 89th Regular Session:
- November 11, 2024: Bill prefiling begins
- January 14, 2025: 89th Legislature convenes at noon
- March 14, 2025: 60-day deadline for bill filing
- June 2, 2025: Sine Die (Last day of 89th Regular Session)
