Title

Discuss and consider the 5-Year Capital Improvement Plan (CIP) for Fiscal Years 2027-2031.

 

Summary

Discussion regarding the Fiscal Years 2027-2031 Five-Year Capital Improvements Plan, and the investment in the City's infrastructure and correlation to the Aspire Pflugerville 2040 Comprehensive Plan, as well as the long-range planning documents adopted as an extension of the comprehensive plan, which includes the following:

 

- Drainage Master Plan

- Facilities Master Plan

- Parks, Recreation and Open Space Master Plan

- Mobility Master Plan

- Reclaimed Water Master Plan

- Water Master Plan

- Wastewater Master Plan

 

As required by the City Charter, the Planning and Zoning (P&Z) Commission annually reviews and submits the 5-Year Capital Improvement Plan to the City Council and City Manager at least 120 days before the beginning of the budget year that starts in October.  The plan must include a prioritized list of projects that are programmed with a recommended year of construction.  Please refer to the attachment for specific project and details of funding source and timing of each project.

 

Following the April 6 meeting, staff updated the plan to include a list of CIP projects by funding source....(to be continued after April 6 meeting)
